Good Stuff, Moog! Thanks for posting those! Anyone know if Medicom has plans on reproduce this entire cast of characters? Would be interesting if they also gave us a character or two that never even made it to the prototype stage. Hmm, Moog are aware if all figures featured there were produced? This is my 1st time seeing a couple of those figures, & I know of at least 1 that is missing from this roster.
All of those guys were produced and some more! The original standard size Nakajima series has 25 figures all up ... but there are 3 versions of Tigermask and 2 versions of Mr No.
Yowza! Then there's a LOT of them I don't know of. Thanks, Scobot. Ha, now I'm even more curious as to Medicom's plans
Soz . . . i don't know anything about them . . . i just found the scans on a general search for toy adverts and knew this would be a good place to post 'em
Thanks Boo Velvet. We have 5 of the Medicom Repros right now. Tiger Mask v2, Red Death, Lion Mask, Miracle 3, and Golden Mask. They are in the Anime section at http://www.nakamatoys.com
^ It sure is a nice one I've still got that itch of curiosity about whether they're planning on reproducing the entire line. How great would a shelf look lined w' a plethora of new & shiny Tiger Mask? I cant imagine how difficult, if not close to impossible, that it must be for those trying to collect all of the originals. Oh how I'd love to see a shelf full of those though. Seems like it would take a life-time to find, & even then I doubt it'd be complete... Nobody here by chance holds this title do they?! If so, Much Respect. HAVE to see a pic! I mean, how else are we going to believe you But Yes, Please Show! :pretty-please_smiley:
anyone interested in the Medicom Repro's, they are going to be 25% off with code NAKAMA at www.nakamatoys.com tomorrow. I
finally got around to photographing some stuff mini size version 1 mini size version 2 , these guys are pretty beat up but i got them at a decent price
awesome. that was one thing that blew my mind last year when i was in japan. the different size variations/series that they made all of these figures in.
This is probably a total N00B question, but . . . . . how hard would it be to find just the mask on its own for the Tiger Mask standard size? I won 6 of the vintage figures recently and Tiger Mask doesn't have his mask . . . .
Pretty difficult. You could try to piece one together (wait for one with no boots but has the mask) but it wont be cheap. I would just buy one complete and try to sell the maskless one. I tried this with a barom one I had a while back missing the belt but had the mask/boots. I gave up and sold him eventually. Ill keep an eye out for you though.
so happy to have found an egypt mummy in great condition, one of my favorite tigermask characters. now to find a nice devil spider
The lot i won has arrived . . . thought i'd share a pre-clean photo of them. I'm really happy Tiger Mask turned up with his mask after all . . . it wasn't included in the photo when i was bidding. a bit closer-up Spoiler
You really lucked out...im sure it went fairly cheap because of this also. They look like they are in nice shape , the piranha -man has a lot of silver spray, usually thats mostly worn off. Great scores Moog!
^^ got them dirt cheap. I doubt if i will ever get that lucky again (but you never know). The piranha man and lion dude are in the best condition out of the 6. Now i have them in hand i can really see what all the fuss is about - these are totally killer figures! Time for some careful cleaning.
