So the news is now that Lynch is going to shoot the season as one long script, and then cut it into however many episodes he sees fit after the fact. Also it looks like the Mark Frost book has been pushed back to 2016 and the series likely to air in 2017.
What awful news! She was such an interesting person, instrumental in dear David's life long before he had anything resembling a career. It's difficult to imagine that small town without her physical presence, but she'll surly permeate every scene that we get to glimpse as that world rolls on in front of our eyes. I wonder who'll end up with the log.
well if im remembering correctly the log represents her dead husband and thats why she talks to it so my guess would be nobody will take on the log but it is twin peaks so who knows
If anyone hasn't had the experience of watching David Lynch's early short films, TCM will be playing three of them tonight (5/7/16) starting at 11:00 PM. Check your local listings because I don't know if I get Eastern or Pacific play times. They'll be showing 6 Men Getting Sick, The Alphabet, and The Grandmother.
For those who don't already know, Lynch's early films are collected on the Criterion edition of Eraserhead, well worth owning.
"Now you listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield Miguel Ferrer, 61 years young, dead of cancer. José's son has returned to the soil. Say it isn't so, Coop.
I was thinking of either Cera or Jesse Eisenberg. I think the dark combo of an uber meek paranoid neurotic unhinged human walking a razorblade would fit nicely in this. I guess we'll wait and see.
Donna's dad, dead at 91. Warren Frost will be missed, not least of which by his son, Mark, who just so happened to co-create a certain small town soap that many of us have been known to enjoy.
Speaking of Twin Peaks, I just had a damn fine cup of coffee and cherry pie at the actual Twedes Cafe (Double R in the series) in North Bend. It was heavenly. Did a small tour of locations, will post pics when I get back home.
