You're right Steve the texture of the head is very rough, it looks like it has the texture of a stone. Congratulations! Both are very nice! But, I do have a partiality to the blue one! They look like they should be playing cat's cradle string games . They look like large creatures too! @deafmetal , can you tell me how tall these guys are?

Would love to see more shots of your Marusan Giant Gorilla. @Mr. Humphreys - The gojis are standard size Bullmark figures, so about 22cm/8.75" tall. @Alebrije - Thank you! The flesh vinyl around the mouth is my favorite feature as well. I also like seeing tribute spray designs of this figure on other Godzilla sculpts. @Lixx - The green spray Hawaiian was an amazing score. I originally wrote about it back on page 43 of this thread.
Lovely Mark! So nice to see the two together. You sure know how to pick some wonderful toys. Greeny is fantastic, especially with that 'bloody' mouth, but for me the flesh vinyl will always reign as tops. But having the best of both, you never have to decide. Definitely make me want to come over for a play session. PS - that Mandarake is (sadly) a very familiar sight. I would not put anything on them, it is exclusively the domain of terrible postal handlers. I have some real doozy stories, but thankfully Mandarake usually does a decent job of wrapping toys up.

Those two Gojis are amazing. The green one is out of control. Id also like to see more of your collection. Thats a tough post to follow. Nothing remotely that good in this box, just some odds and ends. Havent been collecting as much over this last year. Finally got a dark blue devilman and hamster face tiger 7 though.

Thanks everybody Its actually licensed. Takara made a line of 8 inch vinyl star wars figures. They are super hard to find now though. This one is missing the accessories but he was pretty cheap
Yep, it's a really nice set: Chewbacca, Stomtrooper, C-3PO, and Vader. Chewie came with a bag/bandolier piece and a crossbow (assembled from parts on a sprue); Stormie had a gun, Vader had a cape + saber, and 3PO had personality flaws and a co-dependency issue.
Hope that that is either sarcasm or some extremely humbling expression, because WOW what a lovely haul Jonathan. Oh that Chewie! The Takara figures have been grails for me since I was a kid, long before I knew anything about vinyl or Japanese toys. They are each just so lovely and have wonderful character to them. Consider me very jealous. Wonderful Gigasu too, another figure right after my own heart. Looks like you tracked one down in very nice condition too, excellent paint on that [other] hairy fella. I have to highlight that Kamen Rider poly bootleg though, since no one has mentioned him yet. Very excellent score. I like the combination of different blues on the body, and the head sculpt with his antennae is one of the best I have seen on a KR figure. Very nice that not only does he have a belt in great condition, you also got his original scarf! Very excellent pickups all around, Jonathan. I'd say that was a incredibly successful hunting season.
