I'm speechless! Brian and I go back a few years now. Always hooking each other up with the Glow. At least 30 pieces in my collection are only there due to Brian finding them for me. He will be deeply missed. Bernie
Im another Skull that VGA was always cool to even when I was a green assed newb....Best Wishes and sorry for the loss to the family. As for us Skulls looks like VGA is ahead of the game again and beat us to the Next Life...ya never know what the Universe has to offer after this life till ya go. I always take Deaths of Anyone I know on Any level as an chance to think about/reflect on my life and be glad Im alive another day. My Pop says the best way to wake is to thank the Universe for life as soon as you wake....I still havent learned to do this enough...but the older I get the more the Old Man's Crazy ideas and stories make sense. To VinylGlowAddict Brian... Best of Luck wherever you are !!!
As small as this community is this is like a punch in the gut. He knew his stuff and will be sorely missed by all. RIP vinyl brother.
Very sad and shocking. I had a number of conversations and dealings with Brian over the last couple of years. Really a good guy.
Shocked to hear. Brian hooked me up "good" with RxH back in thr good old days when you could find some of the harder to find pieces! Thank you brother for the good times. I hope you find peace wherever you are!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will miss these kinds of posts. He killed me with that pic of the Bemon box and his kaiju tattoos. To young and to much life gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely will be missed IKe
An unfortunate and untimely end to a passionate collector. You never know when your number will be called. We are never granted as many days as we would like, so live the ones you have with as much zeal as possible.
Like rednecktex7, I always associated Brian with his enthusiastic exclamation points. It just screamed across the screen with enthusiasm. I vaguely remember his big selloff in 2005 when he wanted to go after a painting and the confusion and chaos that ensued. He was number 17 who joined on 17 Oct 2005.
Very sad news. Way back in the day, Brian hooked me up with my first Japanese figures...a couple SB Halloween obakes. After that, we talked once in a while. I remember how excited he was when he first started collecting Dehara figures. He sent me a bunch of pics. Anyway, he seemed like a really nice guy, and I'll miss him.
I didn't know Brian but always liked reading his postings. Such a positive and enthusiastic community member will truly be missed. I'm glad you took the time to share the news with us Amber.
I also did not know brian well, but liked his pictures and thoughtfull posts. my thoughts go out to his friends and family.
This is sad news. Brian was a member of my mailing list and maybe the first person to commission me for a custom figure. A couple years ago I painted a glow Namegon for him in neon colors. Thanks for your support and rext in peace VGA.
I didn't know GVA but I'm so sad to know that a member of Skull Brain has passed on..RIP and I hope you are in a better place.
got the glow glutamin/glutamilla figs from him. very influential collector - always ahead of time and hype - will be missed a lot as collector to trade with and very pleasant friendly member who was always helpful. peace
this just really sucks, he was such a nice guy, he was our little bemon fairy...you will be missed brian your toys will stay with us forever.
