I need a new compressor for pressure casting. I know what I want but I need the minimum size I can get away with. What are people using?
using this guy with no problems...got it for dirt cheap when they were doing a sidewalk sale about 3 years ago. http://www.harborfreight.com/2-hp-8-gallon-125-psi-portable-air-compressor-67501.html
wow, both of those are huge. I got mine on ebay. kinda like this one. make sure to get one with a tank... fits on your table http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Quiet-22 ... veQ5fTools
We are talking about compressors for pressure casting kirkland, you're measly airbrush compressor won't get any bubbles out of my resin.
I wish i could just use my Iwata but it wouldn't keep up. I need something with a tiny footprint. Unfortunately Sears won't warranty air compressors.
Uh Oh, if you own property you should shop larger tanks sizes and consider acquiring some air tools. Paint gun, nail gun, pressure washer... just a few of the game changers that await.
A pancake compressor is what I'm looking at. I don't own any property and had a big compressor I sold to move here. I wish I had a bunch of air tools. That would be nice. I think I decided on a CH pancake compressor. I just need to find room for it.
Don't forget to scour your local craig's list for freebies. Bulky gear like that will pass thru hands freely.
