Thank you Bryce! I made the corrections in my posts and put in her full name. She's quite an amazing person, and super friendly too! Here are the four packaged show entries she did (and yes, she drew the art on the header card too!) Alas, Gezora was adopted right away, along with his other "brothers". Snapped up like candy! If someone attended the show, please post photos! Thank you!
I started to take a few photos and found out wtfunks took photos of the show. We need to bother him to post them up.
Ohhhh!!! I wish I could go, but for those of you who love Mr. Toast or just curious about whimisical stuff, go to Gallery 1988-EAST: Dan Goodsell, aka Mr. Toast BACON Strikes Back http://nineteeneightyeight.com/pages/current-at-venice http://www.flickr.com/photos/60585948@N00/11777286875/
Hey guys & gals, Next Saturday February 8th, @ TAG Gallery, PAUL KAIJU, LASH, GUUMON, GALAXY PEOPLE, SICCALUNA, DEVILSHEAD PROD., & SCARECROWOVEN!!! Wristbands handed out 5-6:30 day of event for those purchasing. Amazing new works, one-offs, new releases, be there or well,...don't get these kick-ass toys!
Wristbands are a smart idea. Now we all have the same fair chance to get our number picked instead of having people with fistfuls of raffle tickets.
as I type this some people are having a third wrist grafted on ... not just to themselves, but to unwilling family members.... muhahahaharrrghhhhhhh!!!!!
Coincidentally, on the same day, Februaury the 8th, there is the 2nd annual Los Angeles Bacon Festival at the Petersen Museum, http://www.labaconfest.com/
Wow. $45 for general admission and $65 for VIP and both are sold out. People sure do love their bacon.
