Well I bought the special edition that came with a guide. I highly recommend this, since forging wheapons and lerning spells is really a science. The official Demon's souls forum was quite helpful (http://www.atlus.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=84) as well as DS wiki (http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/ - I think the wiki has all the information the guide has). Let me know how you like the game when/if you get it .

Dante's Inferno is cool, love the gluttony boss and the lust level. I've heard good things about Bayonetta as well.

Infinity Ward > Treyarch....although the future of Infinity Ward seems to be unsure with the departure of some of it's staff. I will not buy Black Ops. World at War was crap compared to MW/MW2.
I actually like Treyarch after World at War. The trailer for Black Ops looks a bit modern, so I'm anxious to see what happens with it.
