Please help me identify this guy...who made him and when.
I scored him not too long ago, but I cannot find any info on the web.
to me the header looks pretty old...Spectreman???

Maker is Masudaya and the name looks like Baron Zaurus. Not sure about when.

 

you are correct. that is Baronsaurus.

most of those Matsudaya Spectreman toys are only from a few years ago I believe. early 2000s?

 

Yep, less than 5 years old, there is also a light green vinyl version of this particular one.
