I brought a Jar of Pus through security once after SDCC a few years ago. They were less concerned with it being a skeleton in a jar and more concerned about the jar having any liquid in it haha
...you try to explain a stewardess that your 1000% Kubrick cannot go in the luggages compartment because it's fragil !
One screener at Heathrow, a cheerful woman in her 50s, commented on the CF's: "Is this Chicken Little? You know he's British and his proper name is Chicken Licken, right?". To which I only had time to say: "This might be an alien version of that, but from Japan.." Another time, while transferring at Frankfurt to Helsinki, it seems the pilot apparently witnessed my unpacking of my toys and then noticed I was boarding his plane. So, as soon as we were at cruising, he came back and 'borrowed' my bag of vinyls. It seems the whole crew was interested and they were checking out the lot, which at that time included a Shikaruna Kobo, rather colorful one. They were returned to me shortly before landing by the purse by saying only "Unusual..". I thinks that's Finnish for "You're weird, but tolreable. Welcome to Finnland."
