Just got off a conference call with India and needed some unwind music and realized I have not seen my all time favorite music video in some time.......well not that I have seen many music video's since I last saw this video.......so thought it would be interesting to see what SB members are watching. My favorite vid is Closer by NIN (Director Cut)
Romanek is the man. Bands have been trying to replicate the Closer video ever since it was released. Definitely one of the best by one of the best (both NIN and Romanek) My favorite video of all time is actually Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love." IMO it's archetypal. It's what music video is all about in the simplest and most iconic sense.
i like most of michel gondry's vids... especially chemical bros. "Let Forever Be" & prodigy's "smack my I FART A LOT up"
there are way too many...but off the top of my head -basement jaxx "where's your head at??" -smack my b.i.t.ch up -thriller -motley crue "live wire" -visage "fade to grey" alright,,a couple more.. -windowlicker -aha "take on me"...cheesy 80s but so ahead of its time -beastie boys "shadrac" & "netty's girl"
Thriller Baby's Got Back http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 8555855882 my favorite video right now. Oh and Missy Elliot's "lose control". http://www.mtv.com/videos/missy-elliott ... artist=760
HaHA Devo-Whip it. Yes, that or any Devo video. Always bizarre and awesome. I remember really liking Rockit by H. Hancock...though I haven't seen it in a long time. Talking Heads has some cool stuff too.

Peter Gabriel "Shock The Monkey". The multiple storyline thing is great, and it still looks fantastic after all this time.
