shit carl, hope you get something sorted ! I am a retail operations manager at the largest ebay trading post in the UK. Although I just interviewed for possibly the raddest job ever, which hopefully tomorrow i will be able to share my joy or dissapointment with you all....
Dang Carl! Please let us know when you get a new job. You are one of the fanatics on here that spice things up. You must have a great network for how well you interact and contribute unselfishly to the toy community. Ike
Ditto, best of luck finding your pie Carl. I think we all know the crunch at this point... I work for myself, making fucked up music for fucked up people. Been doing it for 20 years, my first commercially released LP was in 1988 on Earache Records. Last 10 years, I've been getting into more production work for other artists and started a small mastering service for underground artists/labels that can't afford the $200 per hour most mastering suites charge. I release between 1-5 albums a year of my various projects on hip lables like Hydrahead, Southern Lord, Ipecac, Kranky, Archive, Utech, Asphodel, Daymare, etc. I usually have between $0 - $2000 in the bank at any given time but will still lay down over $200 for a pinstripe Cronic even when the bank account is dwindling. As long as the mortgage gets paid, the pug gets fed, and I have electricity to keep working, money means fuck-all to me. REAL UNDERGROUND SHIT ONLY! http://www.plotkinworks.com

Everyone's buddy Brian Flynn even helped assemble one of my first 7" releases! Strangely enough, we meet 17 years later through this board and my unrelenting mission to acquire a pinstripe deathra...
re: khanate cool, I have your cd with Mark Spybey (A Peripheral Blur) in my collection. I picked it up at Aquarius back in the late 90's.
at the moment i'm a student working on a second bachelors and sell suits for a living but I'm loosing my current housing situation so it looks like the student thing is going on hold while I find and work a real job for a while. I've got a phone interview for a claims adjuster position with progressive tomorrow so hopefully that'll go well
my band supported you in Birmingham for the lovely ladies of Capsule, funny I did'nt know you were on this board cause I would have bought my trades!
If you ask the old religious men who hang around the entrance to my workplace, they will tell you my occupation is "baby killer" If you ask me, I'll tell you that I'm the manager of a call center for 11 Planned Parenthood locations in Southeastern PA.
"Baby Killer/ Phone Manager" I'd love to have a buisness card with that on it. I'd replace "killer" with "eater" just to upset more people.
Now if I could just find people that would trade for old Khanate records Thanks for the sig rep, Blood!
