Well - mine used to be a mint condition Aurora Big Frankie (why hasn't anybody reissued that one? Geez!) But NOW it's definitely Kozik's Giant Skull-Kun! *drool*
My most coveted older toy is the Whistling Kooky Spooky Tree from the Marx Company. They did some other great toys, but this is my favorite. For newer toys, it's got to be the Real Head Mutant Chaos with the iridescent paint job or the clear Real head with GID pellets. His stuff is genius.
Toss up between: Popy 10" Inazuman with removeable mask Masudaya light-up Inazuman Marusan / Bullmark 9" standard size Godzilla The Astro-mu series by Nakajima Ghostfighter in all his colors Kenner Star Wars 3 3/4 Luke in x-wing outfit 1978 version (followed closely by original luke and hoth coat han solo)
Mine too is a Marx Toy also but it's the Hootin' Hollow Haunted House. Bought one several years ago all in working order but kinda rough. Wish I had the box. Corner stone of my Haunted house collection!

Whats wrong with saying that some toys suck? Forces people to verbalize what they see or like in the figure. Kind of like when I had group art critiques in school. You pin your stuff up on the wall and everyone rips or praises it. Much more interesting than just being silent... Hey, I own a set of those Kaws Twins and everyone thinks those suck. hahahha
Hey, I own a set of those Kaws Twins and everyone thinks those suck. hahahha
Yeah, but they have a great rack/racks!
I covet that set of Japanese Mad scientist toys that Paul has, and the rest of them, and the playset that goes with them! I also would kill and die for any more Japanese madball headpoppers that I don't have, and the bodies that were made to stand regular madballs on. That 2 foot Frankenstein and that tin Haunted house are so bad ass!
My original Denys Fisher Muton, Cyborg and Android from 175 and 1976. Here's a pic I found on the net of Muton and his nightmarish sub-forms. This is form teh booklet that came with him, and also a later source for Medicom to "borrow" pics from:
All of the Aurora monster models were cool as hell - especially if you built them with the GID heads/hands/etc. I had all of 'em when I was a kid. Does anyone else remember the "torture device" series of models that they ended up taking off the market? As I recall there was a guillotine, an iron maiden, and a rack - possibly a few others as well. Ah, the innocence of youth.
If we're going for sentimental value I'd have to say a Popy die-cast Gaiking I got in the 4th or 5th grade that a neighbor gave me as a gift because I gave her son a whole bunch of Wacky Packages...(and she tried to give me a 2nd - a Popy die-cast Combattra but my mom would not let her).
hey zomboid, a company in japan did re issue big frankie but in vinyl . i dont think it was done that long ago . very cool looking if i remember right . saw one on ebay not that long ago .
They recently reissued the guillotine- I bought one and built it with my kid. It came in handy last Halloween because I used it as a reference when I made an 8' tall one. On the topic, my nostalgic choice would be to replace the Dr. Seuss animal toys I had as a kid.
