I just got this guy yesterday. Killer, and the trail of footprints is icing on the cake. Thought I'd share, since I don't think Instinctoy has gotten much press here. His muzzle is flocked too. Nice touch.
There are similatities for sure. But I think there's enough of a difference. I mean, I wouldn't say RxH is a SB or Gargamel rip just because they do fight figures that share similar distortion. I think there are so many toys out there, you're going to get some run over here and there. I think what's interesting, is you're taking something cute and cuddly, which would be a teddy bear, then putting all these dangerous spikes and grotesque drips and the contrast sets it off. If you need a teddy bear canvas and T9G (which I love too) has already done stuff that looks similar to that body, tha's just a necessary evil in my opinion.
i'm glad you dig it, but i think it sucks... spikes, stupid bear face, the melting aspect and those look like poop droppings, not foot prints... none of it works.
Now why don't you tell him what you really think, hms. yeah, not really my thing, but JoeMan, but to each his own. the GID one is kind of cool though. ...it kind of reminds me of the the movie Akira when Tetsuo is being attacked by those three gifted children; a teddy bear monster emerges from stuff around the room. Cool movie.
i saw this a while back and immediately thought of t9g it looks like someone saw a t9g toy and thought it would be cool to make something like that. then they didn't really know what they were doing when they made it so it turned out sloppy. but if you like it that's all that matters.
I've seen these things floating around a little myself...and to each their own, but they just look like sloppy customs to me. Like someone attacked a Mori Chax figure with a glue gun.
