Really nice Evil, I would love to see this guy in person.

One tiny critique is that I would have loved it if you left out the outline around the eyes.....the blue to green fade on the mouth to the sides of the face is amazing especially...gorgeous.

 

I'm kinda on the fence about the eyes too but I think Vombie waited long enough. You can't see the sparkle finish on it at all

 

Hey don't sweat it--I'll try to get some pics that might show that off a little more. For what it's worth, I really like what you did with the eyes. I've been showing this off to all my friends. they dig it.

Crab Rangoon has the Dorol. Neither of us wanted to lug it around during ICFSB so he stayed in CR's hotel room.

Just did this one a few days ago for a show...

It's the same Mummyboy except one pic is under black light. There's also a drawing I did for the show on the 5th (Into the Darkness @ 1000 Howard. June 5th).

I have a pic of the framed version but don't know where it is (thanks to Hiro for the mattes).

I dropped by 1am Gallery on Saturday while they were setting up. I got a sneak peak at a lot of pieces, but I somehow missed seeing either your Mummy Boy or the drawing. There are a few really interesting pieces and Lee's stuff looks awesome, as always. See you Friday!

Wow Bert! those colors are just stunning. It looks like one of those exotic iridescent beetles. So fine!

 

That green is awesome. I love the paint effects on the body.

You're right Bert...I would never have guessed that this was yours. Different style for you but you totally nailed it! It's well done and creepy...perfect for the show!

I think I'm the only guy that didn't get one of those clear head thingys with mine...oh well

 

He sprayed a glittery clear coat over it all. It's rad!

I really wanted him to make good use of the white vinyl base too. I think this colorway is just excellent. Thanks again, Bert!
