I guess Superposition is also out based on this thread: http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20366&hilit=superposition
thanks for the compliments Mr Lee! also thanks for inviting me to be a part of this show! wanted to send out my thanks to the S7 staff for being real cool dudes to work with as well (extra special thanks goes to Josh for putting up with my emails and stuff)
this should be a great show with tons of awesome stuff. hopefully mine made it to s7 headquarters by now. http://toysrevil.blogspot.com/2009/04/t ... -from.html
here are the people I have customs from so far: Bob Conge, David Britton, Eric Broers, Sean Blay, Cliff Kirschner, Robert De Castro, Richard Montanari Jr, Paul Copeland, Bret Nolasco, Jared Deal, Ryan Crippen, Daniel Orosco, Robert Ingellis, Marion Tanguy, Steve Merrill, Adrian Piña, Rickey Wilson, Toby Dutkiewicz THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE PHOTOS! I have not gotten to the photos yet
Mine will all arrive on Monday before 5pm I like everyone else wishes that had til Tuesday This is gonna be fun though, wish I could make it
Maybe I missed this, but who of the customizers (and photographers, for the image portion) will be attending the show?
Me & my girlfriend will be in attendance. But I didn't get a shot at entering the show before deadline
I had some problems mailing out my piece on time. I had to rush out of town to go to my moms house to save it from a huge wildfire. Her house was fine but there were 60 homes lost. It was a mess. I mailed it out this morning priority. It should be there within 2 days. I get my boxes from super 7 real quick. I hope this wont be too late. I also was wondering if there were any physical flyers made for this show? I would like 2 of them sent back with my custom if it doesnt sell. Who should I talk to about this? Thanks SUPER 7 for hosting such a awesome show and giving everyone a chance to join in on the fun. I cant wait to see pics of this event.....
i made some cheap prints for the show, just a sketch i had done that my friends got fired up about i'll give them out opening night!
yeah, there are physical flyers that were made for this show. they are the same as the ones already shown. i have a couple of extra ones. if you aren't able to get any just drop me a line and i will mail them to ya.
Cool thanks guys, I think I got 2 flyers that will be sent to me and hopefully a print. Living in oklahoma sure sucks. Thanks for helping a fellow brainer out......
myspace blast and posted up on 2 different toy message boards. hope that helps to spread the word of the show.
crap I wanted to do that also, just couldn't get my stuff together. Wish I could be at the actual opening. I'll have to settle for photos.
I think this is the biggest art show we have ever had. There are about 150 toys and photos in all! It took me hours to receive all the items. If you haven't heard back from Josh or I please be patient with us we have been consumed by this show for the last few days. Skullbrain kicked our ASS! The toys looks great, it is fun to see eastern and western style customs side by side. I The standouts for me are: Hiro's beetlars are so polished and classic I think he is ready to start painting with the Gargamel crew. Kirkland is having way too much fun with his toys (and electronics). Illmuffino is an undercover pimp. His visighost is one of the coolest customs I have ever seen. We need to see more stuff from you in the future Leonard! The photos look absolutely amazing crammed onto the wall. The whole store seem better lit and happier. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to the show.
