Mummy Boy is here to help celebrate the Mr. Flynn's 40th Birthday! His gift to the boss is an edition of 40 Maroon vinyl Mummy Boys with Mummy Gator heads. But not to give up all the spotlight, He broke the edition into four colorways of 10 pieces each, to celebrate S7's own 10th Anniversary! Maroon vinyl with baby blue, mint green, pink or orange spray. 40th Anniversary Mummy Boy & Gator The Mummies also brought a new friend along for the ride, Brian Flynn's newest figure, Little Prick, the cactus who always leaves the house in clean underwear. 40 pieces for 40 years, Maroon vinyl with orange, white and gray sprays. Little Prick
The tighty whities on Little Prick are a nice touch. I love the interchangeable heads for the Mummy Boy/Gator. Is this the first time Super7 has publicly announced production numbers? I understand it has to do with the toys' tie in with Brian's age and Super7's anniversary, but it still raised my eyebrows.
We really debated on whether or not we talk about run numbers this time, as the number was specific to my birthday, yet so much smaller than a normal run. In the end we decided that as a special one-time event, we could tell you how many we made of these two, since it was such a unique and little run. The crush on the servers during the order was a little goofy, and I think there are a couple Little Prick figures that are still here after we settle the orders. I think the sever pulled the figures early. Josh is confirming everything, and can go from there. More soon - and thanks!
Little Prick got pulled prematurely! (can i type that on the clock? (har)) #somanyawfuljokes a few left for anyone that missed it - Little Prick
buying just to flip does suck, especially since he is so limited. and two of them but on a semi-good not the price isn't all that bad.
Well one is sold, (I didnt buy it) and the price of the other just went up by ten bucks! I agree the price wasnt that bad. But to rich for my blood.
In no way do I think an instant flip is cool and especially buying just to flip, but if you are lucky enough to get your hands on a figure that is limited to ten pieces World Wide and you are only paying double the original price I think that isn't too bad. Lets look at it a different way. If you could get a Gorilla Ju for 20,000 yen wouldn't you be kind of happy? Or a Bemon for 30,000 yen? I think just being able to get some of these pieces is the biggest challenge itself. So I do think that double the price isn't so bad in this case. I also think he should have allowed someone that would have truly wanted this piece the opportunity to purchase it at retail.
