I didn't jump on that baby in time, Luke has such an intuitive way of forming very appealing pieces I love it

 

Seeing that piece again really makes me wish I would have grabbed one when they were available.

The red/clear unpainted is so good and so simple. Unreal.

 

In a very short period of time I have become smitten with this.................want! Francious le Grande, standing almost 16" tall. So cool.

I was gonna post about this here, but didn't get home any time soon in order to do so. I'm very excited to see this monster in final production. Even more so for the paint app possibilities, and obviously the sheer size.

 

The hands look awesome. I wanna throw him a basketball...maybe he can palm it.

the sculpting on this thing is soo good. paint will send it over the top.
hopefully he adds a chain connecting the shackles.

 

First Grody piece I've been stoked about in ages! Hopefully doesn't get ruined with a "wacky" paint app... or cost $200... who am I kidding I'll buy it.

Sorry to go uber nerd, but I bet that those are supposed to be the cuffs that were bolted to the table. Hence the lack of chain.
Either way, awesome piece, can't wait to see how it comes out at NYCC.

 

Is that the height if the raw sculpt or prediction of the finished vinyl size?

I want to pull the trigger but I'll probably wait for NYCC and see what versions show up.

 

From what I understand, the final production vinyl will be this size. Almost 16", I believe.

 

I'm sure Luke will agree his costs are a bit cheaper because he's his own wax guy, and now vinyl puller, plus he's shipping direct. I'd LOVE to be able to do this for both cost purposes and the artistry. These cut out a lot of the price tag that most of us can't unfortunately.

That price though is indeed amazing for such a killer sculpt toy and size wise. I want to paint one so badly !
