Getting to meet Izumo was pretty cool. There was a language barrier, but he was very, very nice and humble. I always enjoy putting a face to an artist's name. I'm also super stoked that I was lucky enough to pick up the Pogo. Definitely super creepy, but done very well. An all around fun figure for my tastes.
Yes Robert! Im glad it was you that scored, got confused from your IG pic whether it was yours or not. Please post pics of everything it came with, plus some butt shots. Really awesome paint job.
I definitely live in a shitty neighborhood in Phoenix. But my home is what I make it, and I'm content! There were eight(I believe) to be bought. I'll for sure her some photos of this guy goin' when we get home!
Do you know hello interloper is a woman? I know this can be taken several ways, and you probably just meant attention whores, but this board has always kind of been accepting of all sexes, races, and sexual preferences. I know this is just in jest and would be a common response on most Internet forums, but let's try to be a little more respectful of all members on this board.
Excuse the mediocre photos. I did what I thought I could as far as simply showing off the figure and some detail. I'm lovin' this one a lot. Spoiler
Rob omg!! This thing is amazing I wish my friend could have snagged me one I made my buddy Jay222 a pogo the clown [expletive deleted] for his bday. Love this one more than any of the previous releases thank you for the amazing pics. photos are far from mediocre. Izumonster representin. Hey so is he really In Canada?
he's moving back to Japan soon, and pogo is amazing. I didn't realise it was a one off I thought it was run, up there with freddy IMO
Ive seen some people post some blanks and even a oneoff but i dunno if those were gifts or back alley deals
Pogo was the only release at NYCC. I did get a 1 off from him, but it was predetermined. I know of maybe 2 more 1offs he did for someone else. The blanks were a gift, to my knowledge...could have been sold tho. All in all, I am impressed with BGT. The toys are awesome and their creator is a very cool dude. His paint jobs are unique and fades are on point. I hope to own both head sculpts in the future and maybe an unpaint.
I didn't really like these toys when I first saw them last year on IG. However there are a few recent releases that have really grown on me. This being one of them.
Heres my one off I just got from Izumo. Was months in negotiation but was worth the wait. The colors i asked for were inspired by the 1980s classic Street Trash. I also had a special request for him to add the other extra head so i can swap whenever i please . This is the first toy he's ever done with the second head. Im sure now hell be doing that more often if the feedback calls for it but this is the first. I finally met Izumo after months of conversation at Hyperstoic and he's truly a humble really genuine dude. I will def be adding more of his stuff to my collection.
Thank you. I attempted better lighting and angles, but this was my favorite from the bunch. I'll be working on something new soon. I was super lucky to have picked up on this one. Monster Island and Griz Atom did a great job hosting, and Izumo was very nice, and very humble.
It was a general release. Two different versions, it seems. Though I have no idea what the run numbers were. I wasn't into those ones at all.
