I used medium-viscosity cyanoacrylate (CA) glue... a dot right in the center of each eye socket, just make sure to put the disks in groovy side out! edit* Hadn't thought about rubber cement, but my Odoron will live a nice, sheltered life...
rubber cement will work really well if you coat both pieces and let it sit separately for a bit before putting them together. it is not a permanent bond but it might hold better than superglue/cyanoacrylate because it is more flexible...whereas CA is stiffer and more brittle when dry.
i would think the easiest way, where u can still remove the eyes at a later tie if u wished would be a small tab of clear silicone
Bert's in the right direction with applying rubber cement to each part (eye socket and eye) separately and then mating them, so it is removable and does not harm either material. I would be hesitant to use superglue in case it fogs up around the eye. White glue would work well as well, since it would be removable and stand no chance of harming either the vinyl or eye.
Thank you all for the eye reply. I'm going to go with rubber cement, not least of which because it was reported that Gargamel recommends it. I'm familiar with it, and am glad to have been reminded of it. Thanks. Now, on to the the LB posts! ~Z
Gosh, got my lucky bag in today and it contained standard figures, with one surprise: MICRO MIBORA! I will post a pic when I can. Did anyone else get one of these too?
