I only have 1 clear version along with the white pastel colorway & the black one in the mail. The photos don't really show how nice the clear versions are, although admittedly there are quite a few. The paint is subtle but the contents (candy, fruits, flowers) look like wild sprays. Aya puts marbles inside to keep everything in place. The one I have has a lifesaver positioned to look like a ring around it's eye, the effect is pretty clever.
Upcoming show exclusives for Kaiju Blue in Shibuya. The clear one is cool. I recently scored one of the mohawk punk ones (same as cyberann's above) and a pastel version. I was on the fence about these . . . but that did'nt last long!
no idea why but seeing the mohawk kitty made me think of an old McD's commercial with the joke "what's a mcnugget's favorite music?" "chunk rock"

These are the business. In a girl punk kinda way... Good to see girls are doing the do in this scene. (I'm assuming its girls :/ ... I love toys and Japan... And my mums bean pies and my neighbours pet female cat and didnt poly styrene (rip) from X-ray specs just pass on? And to keep it on topic. don't you think its odd to call a lady cat a female? Doesn't seem right to me. a female dog is a b itch (not my words) what about a female cat? Edit: and killerj needs to recast that fruit loop custom garumon so I can have one
did you notice, they have different jewellery. i bet each one is different. i'm pretty sure Refreshment is a dude . . . and, yeah toys and Japan rule
^ Joe, Refreshment Toy is a dudette: Aya is the artist who creates those amazing toys! And yes, I noticed Mohawk cats have different body piercing jewellery... Aya RULES!!!
anybody know what the deal is with the points that are included with the toys? Is there some sort of redemption thing going on?
This cat has me excited! I am just cringing at what the price could potentially be for this giant yellow kitty! *edit* - The price is not as bad as I thought it could possibly be. $180 plus shipping, which is decent for a vinyl toy this massive.
Refreshment just ran a preorder for this adorable little Kewpie, produced by Obitsu. I love it, but one friend called it very uncanny valley
