"cute " vinyls

some weeks ago I received the Pixie & Dixie from Mexico...
(Yes made by bucky)

 

does anyone have any idea what these are? they are both booked 'Mauricio.' the boy is also marked 'Abekas' and the girl is marked 'Algazarra.' no dates or other manufacturing info.

 

^^^ I had a quick look . . . . they are from a show called 'Monica's Gang' (Turma da Mônica in Portuguese) a Brazilian comic book series.
Mauricio is the name of the series creator. Pretty sure the toys are made in Brazil too . . . .

Anyone know who made these?

They have Japan stamped on one foot with another stamp that looks like a cat . . . . .
the only info i have is they are called 'Woodland Dolls' and are made by one person in Japan.

according to internet they are reissues of a 1971 doll and still made by the same guy for Lapin&me

Maybe someone here can help. I think this is the mascot for the nomura company, but i might also be wrong. That happens a lot to me. I know i have seen this face many times before.

I'm pretty sure it is the Indian mascot for Ciscorn, a corn flake cereal made by the Cisco food company.

Even though he does not look just like my pic, they gave him many different looks. Sometimes young and sometimes old. A really nice toy!
