Those are very cool. I've seen 'em at a local shop; they were labeled as "vintage Flash Gordon figures". Are they F.G. figures, and were they made by either Marx or Lincoln?
Two on the left are Timee toys I think? early 1970's/late 60's era - from a boxed space playset with diecast ships. The other one on the right is likely a reissue from the 50's era figures. I say reissue as I don't think they did a silver vac metal figure back then. They had clear plastic helmets that you rarely see in good shape or not at all. Name of the company is escaping me at the moment. A company reissued the figures a few years back in a boxed set also. None of them are Flash Gordon.
I believe the figure on the right is a reissue of an Archer mold. As Dr. Toungue said, I don't think they had silver vacs on the originals, most were molded in a copper color plastic. Still, they look great!
Archer!!! Thanks - was racking my brain over it. And you are correct - they had silver colored plastic as well as copper, a dark blue, a magenta/red and a few others. The new ones were a lot brighter in color.
got a bunch of these to post .been snatching pics from e bay for awhile now . BTW dr t , those are made by tootsie not archer. well , at least the painted ones .
The two robots on the left side are Tootsie (the Blue and the green). The Spaceman is a reissue of an old Archer. BTW - the third to last figures you listed - the moon faced one is UBER rare and is molded from wax. I seem to remember there being 5 or 6 different figures.
