    Once again, need insights from the experts on board. Is this from the 70's? somehow there's no date to be found. Thanks!

    It's made by Takatoku Toys, if that helps.

    Thanks, akum6n.
    Thought the logo looked a lot like MT- Modern Toys.

    Yeah, pretty awesome but it belongs to my buddy.
    The box's in great shape and the toy I'd give it a C8 at this point.
    Its made of tin.

    Strange that the box depicts the Mazda Cosmo Sport.
    I guess you'd be in for a surprise when you opened the box and got a pimped out Porsche.

    Very cool...nonetheless!

    Return of Ultraman aired in the 70's and I would bet a nut they didnt make many tin cars in the 80's for the series so its probably 70's. But then again maybe I will be the one nut stud.

    I'm not so sure that box goes with that car, For one the pic shows the Mazda and two, look at the pic with the car on top...it looks like it would barely fit in the box. Definitely no room for styrofoam.
    Though I could be wrong :?

    @vintagevinyl- WOW! :shock: :shock: :shock:

    @redYoda- that's a good observation. Let me check if there were any styrofoam and also try to get a scan pic of the zine.

    I have seen a fair amount of tin cars that had just about no packing in the boxes so the car just fit. And getting a different item that what was shown on the box was not that rare in the olden days before all the laws to protect the consumers so I wouldnt be suprised if its the correct toy for the box.
