5 guys is meh, they are an ohio company that does not do our fattness justice if you are ever in the cleveland area I'll point you to brown bag burgers now that is some good eating, and they have a trough of peanuts for you while you wait
apple pan was... meh the hickory sauce was pretty good. the meat was tasteless though. banana cream pie there was awesome. and the pushy waiter was great! grill'em all was closed when i was in l.a.. bummed
GQ Burger of the Year? That's some serious hype. Doesn't look like much, but hopefully will live up to at least some of the expectation.
last trip to l.a. went to juicy burger they over cooked my patty, so i guess i can't really judge it. but everyone else liked it. i did take a bite of my brother's burger and i thought it was okay.
^^That burger looks great but the top portion of the bun is ridiculous. It might just be the angle but that's a lot of bread.
the fix in l.a... went during the same trip i went to juicy burger. i liked it more than juicy burger... maybe because they cooked my patty correctly
Next time you're in LA drop by Suzanne Goin's restaurant Lucques for lunch. I recently had one of the best burgers I have had in a long time (and I eat a lot of burgers). It's called the Triple Pork Burger. The patty is made with ground pork, bacon, and chorizo. Cheese and aioli are melted on and form almost a crust on top of the meat. Super flavorful and perfect texture. They also serve it at Suzanne's other joint, The Tavern.
Yes it was, and didn't know how big the double burger will be hahaha, but fortunately I was able to finish it, can't wait to comeback a friend told me the onion rings are great
I still need to go to Hodad's. On the other hand, I'm getting some Miho later today so that will be good! Best burger I've had come out of a food truck!
Alright, once again had another amazing burger at Miho. The portion is a bit on the small side when compared to Hodad's, but I think they're still filling and keep my belly button smiling. They have a new menu every month, each with a different burger. This one included: Grass fed Tallgrass beef, all natural cheddar, grilled balsamic red onion, local butter leaf, hand made french dressing, local brioche bun I think one of my favorite things about their burgers are the bun. Served with Belgian style fries and their homemade chipotle ketchup! They also have different homemade ketchups at times. The only reason the fries portion there is small is because I had them split one order of fries between my girlfriend and I
THAT looks really good! hodads for some reason doesn't appeal to me as much. i'd still like to try it some day, though.
Just had this burger over at Umami Burger here in LA. "Hog Heaven": Pork belly patty, bacon, spicy aioli, crushed avocado, and cippolini onions.
went to true burger in oakland last week. i liked it. especially the cheesy chili fries. had sour cream, black beans, and green onions. loved the way they spelled my name on my receipt as well haha.
