im going for the 49ers from here on out in the nfc hopefully they can keep firing on all cylinders ... That said Ravens all the way through.
I've been looking up flights since yesterday. Do you think people will be selling tickets at the game? I'm hoping to not spend more than $300 on a ticket. That's if I even make it out there. Right now it would be running me at least $750 for the weekend and that's with the $300 ticket goal. Or I could just save up and make it out there for opening day in September as a bday gift and make a real vacation out of it.
I'd say be wary of getting a ticket at the game and try to secure one before that somehow. I'm not sure what nosebleed seats are even going to cost for this game and can't even begin to imagine. Just ask yourself this, considering the game that happened on Saturday, can you even put a price on that? I somewhat regret it not even trying to go to the game considering what an epic ending that was. But also in reality, season opener should be fun as hell next year.
Apparently my wife's friend from school just moved out there and is really trying to convince her (us) to move over there. I'm obviously all for the idea. The trip for this weekend is sadly looking like a no go, but next season should be a go, either as a vacation or a day trip.
that sounds like a bad idea to me.... I say spend the extra $$ and not take the chance of paying a crazy amount right outside the game (and taking the chance that the tickets are phony - especially considering nosebleeds are already $150 w/o surcharge). You'll have a big enough headache just getting into Candlestick park.
Local press has been running a lot of stories about violence, harassment and general hooliganism at the games lately. Have you guys who have been going to the games in person actually seen any of this? Some people are making it sound like the atmosphere in the stands feels pretty dangerous these days. Curious to know your impressions ... is the media exaggerating or have things really changed that much? I haven't been to a Niners game since the '80s but back then there was never any sense of danger.
^Yea, it's pretty intense out this year during the game I went to. Fights broke out here and there through the stands. When we left our seats and were walking on the outside, a fight broke out in front of me out of the tunnels with 3-4 dudes beating up one guy. Then the cops came and started beating down w/ batons.
Shit everyone out here is rooting for the Gnats. I think it really is time to pick up a 49ers jersey.... or mummy boy 49ers shirt!
I expect adjustments to be made correctly and they're gonna come back from the half with all cylinders firing.
Fuck. Super bummed that it ended the way it did. But huge congratulations are in order for Harbaugh and the Niners. Great season.
HAHA! GO G-MEN!!!!. Embrace it your in NY. Can't hate though, you guys played super tough. SUPER BOWL HERE WE COME! GO G-MEN!! GO GIANTS!!
Sorry to go so hard super stoked. You guys played an amazing game both teams deserved it. We couldn't keep up with that defense. Definitely an incredible game.
Congrats to the Giants. Indeed a crazy game. Kyle Williams though. Urgh. He redeemed himself on the muffed punt with the next return to set it up for a TD drive. But definitely congrats to Harbaugh and the whole coaching staff making things fun again for being a 49ers fan. Can't wait for next year!!!
