Re: Savage Freaks What are the size of these? I really think these are wonderful. They remind me of some styles of Japanese ceramics especially a style known as Iga.
Re: Savage Freaks ^^^ Thank you I glade you like them. They are about 1inch by 1.25 inches. This was my first attempt at painting anything. I used good ol spray paint and acetone and a dermal with a brush. I will have to look up that Iga style. It looks totally cool. Thanks for the reference.
Re: Savage Freaks So I thought I would try to step up my "Creep" game, so I made a few more sculpts. I thought I needed to get more detailed and expand on the creeps design. I was also trying to make new textures and I came up with this hair like pattern. With all that texture I'm excited to paint them. I'm pretty happy with what I came up with but there will probably be a 3.0 version. I figure as soon has I got a few sculpts I'm happy with I will make some molds. Also I'm working on that body I told you a about. Let me know what you think you can check more pix at my blog http://www.savagefreaks.com
Re: Savage Freaks two eyes on this creep, yeah? can't quite tell from the angle, but i'm guessing there are. and i REALLy like the chunky, slab-style teeth! keep those photos coming...

Re: Savage Freaks The paint application on this one looks really beautiful. Almost like he's a creature of moss and stone. So, did you paint the with the spray can and then wipe/rub off the paint on the top with acetone? Just trying to figure out how you did it. Hehe.
Re: Savage Freaks Pretty much exactly as you said. I first hit it with all black and made sure to get it in to all the nooks and crannies. then wiped it away and with acetone. then I took the green can and pulled the can back far enough so it lightly misted it
