Favorite RESIN toy of 2010

OK I posted up on the Japanese vinyl board about picking your favorite toy of the year. So I thought we need one just for resin releases. So whats your Favorite Resin Toy of the year?

Mine are
1) Goo Goo Ghandi I just got mine in the mail today (one on the left) and its STUNNING. Granted I've been a huge fan of all the Hiberts for a LONG time. But the sculpt and paint app is just amazing.

Ok I wanted to make this about other artist's work but I am gonna plug Globulon here... Hes my MOST favorite but Im biased as hes my kid.

Definitely Paul Kaiju's Pollen Kaiser!! Shit is sa-weet!

 

In no particular order I thought these resin toys were pretty cool.

Arbito Cosmic Hobo is pretty freakin cool with magnetic joints and different types of materials like flexible rubber feather, this is a toy! You can play with it and pose it and....yea , I thought the magnets were pretty cool.

Paul Kaiju's Unchiman and girly topper for the Boss C.
I like Paul's creations, dude knows toys!

Monstre Hero puts out quality stuf, and Lady Ape makes me laugh!!!!

MVH/Lash Doji San is very cool.
Rich kills it paint wise on any version and I really like both masks . I see a wandering samurai/yokai look to him when it is strapped to his back. ( sound of wind blowing through grass...)

Of course I am hooked on Le Merde and think his stuf is always killer. Lookin forward to new characters and also seeing him continue to go old school and release some of his older sculpts. ( cause I didn't get em the first time! )

Baby Huey by Itokin Park and Lamour Supreme is another cool sculpt with an incredible finish. The thing looks so freakin smooth and crisp!!!


And THANK YOU to those that thought Larry was a cool toy. With 4 points of articulation, interchangeable weapon arm and a human scalp for hair, what's not to like.

Thanks. I really love the hiyas. They've been hard for me to part with. He and Diggler are the start of a new era for me and Im hoping to keep the new characters coming in 2011. A lot of great resins this year. It's been very exciting watching alot of great artists emerge. More exciting for me actually than vinyl. Maybe its because I know a lot of you. But it feels Like something is brewing and resin is really taking form. And I could rattle off a dozen resin figures I think have outclassed many vinyls in 2010, but you all know them anyways. Looking forward to Splurrt in 2011 and seeing all the other crazyness that comes from this board.

Steven is this Franken Victim yours? Was it from ComicCon? Those colors are so nice. Good thing I didn't see it first!

 

NONO I dream of this owning this one. It was a custom for a halloween show. Not sure where, but I love the addition of the screws.

 

I forgot it ... I love it too!
