It's a crapshoot basically. So I ordered those Devilman yesterday morning. Strangely they were up around 10:15 am EST, I kept thinking- is this a little early? But the form was ready to be filled out so I did it. Of course, as soon as I did it and clicked 'check' I get an error popup from bearbrick saying you'll have to resend. I click ok and underneath it's saying the order was SENT in big green letters. So now I'm confused... Do I need to resend or was it sent? To compound matters I get a confirmation email from the oversea@medicom... email. I figured ok I guess I'm good. Maybe not! So today, rather than wait for the whole "you never got a invoice but reminder to pay" thing, I just figured I'll do the math and send payment. No problem there. To be safe though I figured I'll reply to that email confirmation I got and just ask: Can you confirm order received and payment made? Well that bounced back and failed. No oversea@medicom.... So I then emailed oversea(s)@medicom... to ask the same questions. Waiting to hear back. Anyone else go through this?
Same thing happened here. Error, then sent message, then received confirmation. I'll wait a bit for the potential invoice, but yeah, last time I tried to do two orders from the 'overseas' system I got screwed - though in that case I think it was me only, since other folks on here seemed to get their figures just fine.
toytokyo has a preorder for both devilmen ending sept 26th in case anyone doesnt want to deal with medicom
Isnt that a different Devilman?? I thought Medicom was selling the RXH Devilman... Which I want by the way.
haha im actually not sure which one anyone is talking about. TT has the whistle repro (sans whistle) and the dog face
same here i've purchased 5 or 6 times and as long as you have the confirmation email your good to go. they usually reply fairly quickly and will even accept last minute orders if you contact them. i can't wait to get these
Same here, i got the error mmessage but still received the conf emails. My advice to everyone is not to wait for an invoice from medicom, all of the info is there to make the paymrent for the figs and shipping directly via paypal.
Um, we were solicited for those, but I passed on them because I didn't think anyone would be interested in them this side of the world... Am I wrong? If so, I think I can still pre-order the things. If people are interested, let me know. I believe there are two versions being made available. The only problem is I can't ever nail down a price because of a few things. I never know where they are gonna ship from, be it Hong Kong or Tokyo and they never seem to listen to me when I request another form of shipping service other than EMS. In other words, the shipping costs can bump the prices up significantly. Then there's the Yen vs. USD. At the time of ordering, the Yen may be at a decent price, but by the time the figures arrive the Yen can jump and you're screwed. Anyway, I know this doesn't make it altogether appetizing, but I'd be happy to try if there are enough interested parties. Let me know
I got a email from Medicom this morning. All good. They got the order and payment. Still system is a little confusing as far as alerting the buyer as to what part of the process has been completed.
hah i was just about to post the same thing... We have received your payment through PayPal. Your order is now completed. Please wait for the product being delivered to you. The delivery will be made in the end of November 2012 , by EMS. urghh seems kind of long wait since these were already released once...
Chad I think it's a case of they made some for the Tokyo 40th Anniversary release, then they're making more based on orders for overseas. Probably have to be made, hence the 2 month delay. This is just an guess though on my part though.... Still very excited for these, and I'm sure as soon as I have dogface in hand I'm going to immediately want a vintage version to go along
