I still can't get over that you did this. INCREDIBLE, man. Inspiring. Much Gara-respect. Have you shown Groman, yet?
i got this from the same guy who did my space monster in barcelona- wasnt expecting so much different styles of pain- ribs, hips, belly button zone, and raw stomach meat. they all had unique pain! happy to have it over with, happy to have a giant skull spider destroying a town on my body.
thanks guys! ROTOR did it, hes my favorite at the shop- we traded some art as well. once i get it framed ill post it up, but hes a nuts guy. he also runs a magazine/art collective called finerats which is a really nice free publication here in spain- hes having a hard time self producing it now though. anyway- the whole shop is really talented, ill get a piece from mongo soon enough!
That's awesome. I've only seen good work come out of that shop. My work has an office in Barcelona, and I am REALLY hoping that they need me to go over there at some point so that I can get something from Monga. Haha. I did not know that. Do you have a pic?
Mike said that the art took so long that the band was broken up before it was done. he had a copy at the shop and let me check it out. Total geek gold; getting tattooed by Bink while talkin' Pushead!
wow. thanks for sharing these Shawn. i love the orange and brown prints. is this a certain version of VOATC? mine is different and w/o blue skeletal book.
Ahh... It is hard enough for me to save up for a trip to California, it would take forever to get to France. It's nice to learn about someone in blackwork that I haven't heard of before though; Thank you!
I started my back today. Good times. Apologies in advance for anyone having to see my ass... *PICS REMOVED*
Yeah I think it was a little less than 2 hours of tattooing. It took a bit to get it all drawn on and layed out though.
Damn. Looking good, dood. I bet you opted to not have chili con carne tacos for dinner the night before, huh.
What brings you here to Austin, and who does your tattoos here? Scratch that second part, I saw you mention Steve (and someone else mentioned Tony) so I assume Rock of Ages - yes?
