I have gotten no response from the seller in 4 days, no sign of shipping info and have heard from numerous people that they are a scammer. My hopes are low, but we'll see.

you should be fine if you went through ebay proper, but if you went under the ebay radar via messages, youre SOL

I was following that guy for a minute on Instagram, but stopped because of all the douchey selfies he posts and how contrived his art is. Definitely one of those people you can tell is an asshole just by looking at them.

But both Aprilrainnn & googlyeyes have 100% ebay ratings?? They are obviously flippers, but if they rip people off, how do they maintain a 100% approval??

Because the ratings are bs as Ebay doesn't really do much about scamming or intentionally false or misleading auctions (fake silver from China is a great example) as long as they get their cut.

And he gets you to do the transactions off eBay so theirs no proof he's done anything wrong.

because of this thread I just searched this guys listings and what do ya know...

So he waits for someone to make him a offer, then contacts them off ebay to work out a cheaper deal, then takes the money & runs? Or sends a defective item, etc..... But even if someone did a off-ebay deal, wouldn't Paypal cover you, since he couldn't prove he shipped the item?

Not if he convinces you to pay as a friend, he refunded my first payment, (which I still haven't got back) and then asks to do that do he won't get slammed with the extra fees, I guess I had it coming, but I'm gonna work with PayPal I have all our messages still. If anything we'll make sure this guy doesn't try and sell shit again. Skinner already hit him up via Instagram and he instantly deleted his shit and made his profiles private.
