Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
I used to play the motherloving shit out of L4D2. All of the different 'Mutations' that Valve put out (all survivors have chainsaws, or katanas, etc.) were really fun too. Maybe I'll take it for a spin tonight.
I gave up on Street Fighter x Tekken. I was so hyped for that game to come out, but it pretty much sucks and almost anyone that plays fighters would agree. It's too bad as it had a lot of potential, but numerous pointless game mechanics and systems just got in the way.
I played through Batman: Arkham City recently. It's one of the best games I have played in years. Definitely recommended if you like Gotham and/or sandbox games. There are a whole lot of side missions to take on and extra stuff to collect. I'll probably have to get the game of the year edition coming out later this month.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
I played D2 for years, duping of items became so commonplace that the most sought after item in the game (stone of jordan) became a common form of currency. To combat that, Blizzard came up with a super world boss that could only be summoned by sacrificing multiple stone of jordan rings... which lead to even more duping =P then came the rust storm, where all servers went down and most duplicated items were purged. sucks that D2 was overrun by bots, game had insane replay value.
if anyone wants to play some L4D or L4D2 on Steam, msg me. Same with Warhammer: Online, I still play T1 from time to time.

Have you ever played Ocarina of Time on N64? That's pretty much considered the best Zelda game ever produced and to be honest I totally agree, it's simply an amazing game. I've never played the latest version on Wii but Ocarina of Time is seriously wonderful.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
I'm going to be honest I did not like Ocarina of time. I thought it was boring. I know no one will agree with me, but I didn't play it until I was way older, so I just wanted to beat it and there was too much extra stuff. I don't like to get 10 butterflies for one key.

Kinda feels like it's a matter of luck for who gets the first hit in and then chain off of it. Felt the same way about Mortal Kombat. Played a couple of times and never picked up the game again. Read earlier this week that they're planning some major changes to the SFxTK fighting system. SFIV is still the best fighting game, IMO. Oh, and I'm playing the hell out fo Just Cause 2... awesome game.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Anyone play NHL 12 on PS3? Want to join my league team: Krunch Konnextion? I usually play Left Wing but can easily switch to Right if need be. I can't do Center (suck at face offs) or Goalie. In fact I hate player goalies because to be honest I've never seen one not give up an easy goal, so computer goalies only! I'm also pretty good on D.

Max Payne 3... reminds me a little of Kayne and Lynch... it would be awesome if there weren't a billion cut-scenes (reminded me of metal gear) However graphics, action, and exit would make it for an enjoyable play!

Anyone playing Dragon's Dogma? How is it? The demo was rather confusing but I saw a lot of potential.

Dude, totally. I would put Kane And Lynch 2 as one of the most under-rated, brutal games out there. It has flaws, its not perfect, but that's what makes it special. Pure grit, grime and shoot everything up. And when its over, there is no real pay-off. Just credits. Reminded me of an old Nintendo game with little story. Just all game, play it, beat it, and that was that.

I was probably 30 when I played Ocarina and really liked it but I get your point. I'm currently playing Yakuza 4 and would like to platinum it (or at least go as near as possible to 100% complete, although I doubt I'll ever have the patience to go through all the side quests / mini games... it's just immense).

Just all game, play it, beat it, and that was that. Check the demo for Spec Ops: The Line. It is pretty gritty as well. The game is actually supposed to address ptsd in soldiers as well and supposedly how it develops. The game looks really epic with low flying helicopter battles in a destroyed city plagued by sandstorms followed by torture scenes. I wish I tested games I always find errors or areas of concern within the first 7 hours of play. Anyone got a connect in game testing?

I love Yakuza, I keep meaning to finish the first one, but I have a software BC PS3 and it crashes at random parts. I have a friend with a PS2, I just never have time right now.

And I must admit it doesn't look too bad at all, think I'm picking it up. On a different note I finally finished Portal 2 last night, after having put it aside for 8 or 9 months. Awesome Valve as usual.

For anyone that is playing any Blizzard games (WoW, D3, SC2), I've added Battletags to the first post. Reply with them in the thread and I'll do my best to keep updating.
