Bought the Secret Mystic Serpent from lulubell this morning because I remember the wonderful Bunny Duck So this is the sixth colorway. Anyone have the others? What were they?
Sorry for the super dark pic. I guess I live in a cave As far as I know it goes (from l to r) included in color release included in black release S7 mag mail in exclusive Lulubell exclusive DKE exclusive Nike exclusive This figure was what turned me on to S7. I remember hearing about their exclusive and rushing to pick up a copy of the magazine from Borders. I'm glad I did.
Wow, nice collection. Thank you for the picture. I thought I had heard he had done a different colorway on the Bunny Duck. So black huh. Never see these pop up on the boards.
i love this guys stuff. i only have the s7 and dke serpents but would love to get them all eventually.
I'm a big schorr fan. I also own both bunny ducks and still love them. the black was toted as a friends and family version I think. People have always complained abuot them standing but I personally have never had that problem.I gave up on getting the nike version long ago. If anybody has a spare please get in touch I pray every night for a spectre of monster appeal toy.
I've been keeping my eyes open for a bunnyduck myself. I had no idea there were that many version of the Secret Serpent. So there was a Nike version of Bunny Duck too? Done up in the same colors as the serpent?
+1! I have often thought that his take on Nosferatu (essentially a Schorr-ized version of one of the original concept art pieces by Albin Grau) from that painting would make an excellent toy, too.
Everything this guy touches is gold. I was just made aware of the 6 serpents also when I saw that flesh colored one on the bay. I was going to bid but spending too much on other stuff I "need".
I had the black Bunnyduck when I still collected Western stuff. A very cool figure with an awesome presence. It was a prized part of my black shelf.
Love his paintings, but teh figures leave me cold. I assume this was sculpted by Nathan Cabrera - an amazing versatile artist who seemingly turns his had to anything - but don't dig this or the Camille Rose Garcia pieces.
