LuluBell posted some pics on their Facebook page HERE The Shikaruna figures look pretty sweet. There's an ankylosaurus looking figure I don't recall seeing before.
I took pictures of each piece from the Bwana Spoons gallery. http://www.flickr.com/photos/miketomimitsu/sets/72157625309738007/?photo_deleted=5194144492 I'll upload more photos I took while you guys check out the paintings.
it was a fun little show, considering i didnt care for 90% of the stuff there.... but S7, Grasshut, Lulu, and Monster Hero/PK were legit. Got there about 20 mins after the doors opened and all the Boss Carrions were already sold out. Boo, but I did manage to pick a few things up ^^
great pics, mike!! as per usual i took none.... i really liked the skinner customs and i'm definitely kicking myself for not grabbing one of the shikaruna HPs at lulu... the good times were far greater than my haul, great to see a bunch of sb folks again & to meet others for the first time.
Thank you so much for this!! I've felt sick worrying that I would never get to see them all. I love some of the points of view Bwana took that were like when you were a kid and just staring at your toys. Like the holes in the feet or the made in Hong Kong stamp. Nice.
Damn! That would be a 20 second movie at 30 frames a sec. Can you imagine if it was film you were paying to have developed. Thank you digital cameras!
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4089/519 ... 92ed_z.jpg This guy is part from Max Toy Co. right? He's neat. PK's stuff looked great, Monstrehero too... It all looked good! Wish there more more shows on the East Coast, I'm jealous that I don't get to go to all these crazy shows. take care, Phil
^ yeah. This is probably one of the only toy I'll buy in the unforeseeable future. (that and a clear King smog if it comes out neet, maybe..) ..and Kozik's Hello Kitty , that is so Outside that I have to get absolutely ! Unpainted spongy yellow Argus in the back is awesome !
Those little mountain shelves on the MonstreHero table look very Monster-In-My-Pocket-ish. I wonder if MIP's were an influence..?
Holy shit what's up with those clear pink trees? Are those from PK? Any chance those Bwana Spoons painted mountain display stands for multiples figures are for sale Wonder if I could find one. Perfect for a display case.
