Alas, yes it was my second victimisation in as many months. Back in Montreal Oli, from everything I have experienced bike theft in Japan was virtually non-existant. I would expect it if there was some value to the crime, but come on, there isn't at all. At least have the decency to steal from Wal-mart or someone who can afford it. No one driving around a rusty old junk bicycle is riding a Benz at night.

Not exactly a fuck you type of situation, but I don't quite know what to do with any facet of this simple situation:

o An ex of mine, who I haven't talked to in a few years, just sent me a link
o The link was to a clip featuring the girl I was dating before her
o The clip was of said ex's cover band
o Her band was covering NICKELBACK

This is so confusing I don't even know where to begin. Why does one ex care about what another ex is doing, save to prove how much better they are than the latter (a strong case can be made for Nicklelback), but given that they are both exes, wth would anyone care? Didn't Lixx say he was denied unemployment while going abroad for 2 weeks? In California, you have to be available for work and be looking for new work to get unemployment. If you went abroad, you were not available, and that would be a valid basis for denial. But perhaps NY State has different rules? In any event, I join with you sending a big FUCK YOU to any government agency. They all suck.

It's the same in NY state (as Cali) you do have to be available and looking. Apparently you also have to let them know when you go abroad. As I don't consider myself under house arrest I didn't consider it. For the record I did look online (sounds like bs but it was true) and I was accepted in the 599 program (for people going to school at least two years and only if what your going for has a favorable outlook in the area you live- check on both) which means I'm waived from having to actually look for work.. Whatever I'm over it. I can make money appear when I need it to. Collectors creed....

I. fucking E.- I need some credits transferred from a semester of college from many moons ago. I was never really explained to how this is done. So I went to admissions, who told me I need to meet with the dept. head for my program so they can evaluate the credits. Basically it's like playing hot potato and no one wants to handle it. So this dept head happens to be my advisor as well. I ask them to email him the pertinent info and march over to his office.

Upon meeting him he says he's busy, but makes a impromptu meeting and says "Wed 1pm my office G128". Watches me writing it down in my planner. So class ends today at 10:50 and rather than drive 1/2 hour back to my apartment I catch up on some reading waiting the 2 hrs.

I go there and he acts like I never made an appointment. I say "You watched me write it down in my planner!" and show it to him. "Ohhhhh yeah, sorry I never put it on my schedule you'll have to come back I have a conference call at 1pm! "WTF? I was ready to blow a gasket. So I say how about tomorrow we sort this out? He then asks for my number and rushes me doing it, saying he's not too available and how 'involved' the process is. He complained he would have to go to the other dept heads and see if they transfer. English 101, what college does that not transfer?! So WTF again. I'm about ready to literally punch this fucker in his face. You make the time fuckwad. I end it with saying I get out of class at 3:40pm tomorrow and I can meet him then. He says ok 3:30pm. I say look I don't get out till 3:40?! "Ohhh I'll wait" like it's some bother. Probably won't even be there tomorrow and blame me for not being there at 3:30pm!! If he's not there I'm getting a new advisor and I'm chewing him out.

Going back to my initial statement- THIS INFO HAS BEEN EMAILED TO HIM by admissions. So why I need to be there to do anything but babysit this professor and make sure it's done is beyond me.
