Awesome photos. I love huge trooper collections. I feel the same way about skullmen collections. They look SO awesome in a huge group.
Thanks! I would love to see some other board members trooper collections. I know there are some hardcore space trooper collectors out there Does anyone know the run on the three red, blue and yellow az troopers i heard it was 30? im probably wrong
Is the head and tentacle on the one-eye-head-dude glow??? And, man, I'm just waiting for them to put out a glowie of the full-size missile-face alien!
Anyone have a full size picture of the one you're talking about? I have all the rest... don't think I've seen that one...
They're all looking good. Especially the green one and the Blue/purple one, very nice. Also, i'm over to Tokyo beginning of October and wondered where Space/Ghost Troopers retail from. I know Nakano Broadway. Any heads up would be great.....cheers
Anybody still enjoying Toygraph stuff? Dead Presidents did a run of Gunheads for In Living Kolor, but I just couldn't let this one go to Japan after seeing it in person. It looks like Paul Kaiju's Medik Junker was captured and horribly mutated... they look great together! \ Walker pulled out all the stops, and treated much more of the detail than he usually does, which is why I was so hooked. What's funny is that DP's new Cosmic Squadron guys are so much cooler space troopers than the Toygraph Space Troopers, and go great alongside the Gunhead.
pretty awesome. I really want them to release a camo range of the normal az troopers or maybe a few full gid az troopers in different sprays. They seem to be hitting a brick wall with these and have not released any in a while except for the thousands of ghost trooper versions... yaaawwwwwwn
It's probably because when they started releasing infinity versions of the regular troopers, everyone stopped buying them. They've definitely pulled way too far back, and I think a lot of people basically consider the Troopers a dead line because of how few releases there are. A better balance of releases could definitely be reached. For me at least, the price has always been a point of contention. The only reason I paid for this Gunhead was because of Matt's paint, and the impression meeting it while it was in progress left with me. The retail on regular Trooper stuff is usually really steep, though.
I'm not sure where you're buying them from, buy they really aren't expensive. The Cosmic Squadron is great looking stuff...wish I could get it. Webshop has been sold out since SDCC.
Aren't regular Troopers still like $70 or something? I remember the Trooper-sized robots being way too expensive.
I suppose some retailers may have had them for that much, but I paid closer to $50 for them when they came out.
i have 30 maybe 40 troopers now and i paid way too much at first. But got all the early releases really cheap. They are pretty steep at retail but its the shipping that catches me out that's why i never order them.
I'm sure there'll be a cheaper US release, but for now, there are some pretty badass colorways for sale at One Up. Now, if only the exchange rate didn't blow...
I wish I would have had more money to pick one up at NYCC. Those ones on One Up are confusing. Do you have to buy the gun separately?
