I have been thinking about that gold/tan suggestion like the faceless bull and that sounds great as well. I was also thinking a gray with black and metallic red sprays would be fitting.

I really like that tan color and even though I missed that Bull I keep going back to look at the pics. This surprises me since I didn't think a FB would appeal to me unpainted but damn that color brought the sculpt out in such a cool way. The gray with black really fits the charcoal idea. Maybe some grey rubs or color washes in the craters to create a realistic 1/2 burnt briquette look. One thing that excites me about this sculpt is that I can see it holding traditional paint schemes, the wild stuff you have been doing on Sludgies and a more detailed realistic model look. While it's usually not my thing it just seems like highly detailed paint job would bring out a whole other side of it's personality. I know how many ideas you keep brewing in that noggin so I'm sure these sculpts are in for quite a ride.

I am down for black and GID, definitely. You have really outdone yourself on this one Rich. Can't wait to hold this little dude in my sweaty mits. You kick ass!

Rich, please tell me that you will be at NYCC Friday in addition to any others days you may be planning to attend I need to fly out Sat morning of NYCC and may only be able to make it Friday. Maybe a staggered release each day, instead of a oneshot deal on Saturday I hope???!!?

Seriously indeed. Looks nothing like the kumon skull. The only thing they have in common is that they are both skulls.

The sculpts are on the way to Japan as I write and once we get the details worked out I will probably do a preorder for painted and unpainted. Just got to figure out colors for vinyl. Maybe hold a poll for vinyl colors and go from there BUT I was thinking orange vinyl for Halloween and a possible first release.

NYCC, it's still up in the air for me. I'm starting a new job which required me to work on the weekends. BUT I should be able to at least make one night to hang out and I'm hoping to have at least the test pulls by then. If everything goes well maybe some bookbag sales

But that is months away and still have to work it all out.

And what's this about naggy mouth and kumon skull? I love the kumon but your toy is totally different, sometimes I don't understand what tha fuck people are lookin at..To each there on, but I don't see it at all..

You just keep kickin ass and makin great toy's..I know for a fact and I'll go out on a limb and say that anyone on this board that has had a chance to win a lottery or snag one of your toy's through a web sale has recieved a first class toy..I know just how particular you are about your work, and I can honestly say your one of the best out there..

Finally too the time to read this, I love the dept of the texture especially on the skull eyes. I think the doll eyes take that away. can't wait to see these painted up. I need to start collecting MVH
