Re: Melt-Banana tonight in Hamden Connecticut Amazing show, I'd never seen them before but I came away wanting to see them again immediately or as soon as possible. The friends I went with all felt the same way. I wished I could have gotten closer to the stage but it was a packed house. Still, I think I had the spot where the sound was the best. They played a long set and were well received by the crowd. They played a two song encore that included "Monkey Man" which is a Specials cover. The whole show was incredibly LOUD. Band was tight and vicious in their attack on the senses.
