I believe (though I could be wrong) exhibitors had an early crack at buying other peoples' toys. If I remember correctly, Sakaguchi sold out of everything before the doors opened at last year's SuperFest as well.

I really don't get the whole " Sold out before it began" thing. He has to know it will sell out so hold at least half for the people.

Well Ilu Ilu has gone and worked for us to get them too in the past. GT had a run of the 1st Gorilla's special made for them after the 1st run sold out at the show. So they sold out at the show then made more since demand was there. Sounds good.

I believe this is the case but there seems to be a whole bunch of shenanigans at Superfest. Sometimes tables are set up selling outside, other times organisers request stuff not be sold before the doors open . . .


That makes 3 for 3 . . . next time I'll disagree just to break the cycle!

That said, they were show exclusives and you were sat on your ass in your nice comfy studio 7,000 miles away so I guess you, I, or anyone else not lining up on the day shouldn't be too pissed about it!

Also, if a new toy is cheap and readily available it loses some appeal with alot of collectors.
