Re: Slime Ape work in progress
I love that....what's with the arms...is it plugged? If so how are you going to cast it? How do they come apart since they seem attached at the moment? Can you show us pics unattached? Looks shmick.

Re: Slime Ape work in progress
Thanks guys. This is all castilene at this point so I just heated the base of the arm and attached it to the torso. The arms will be cast seperate from the body and I will attach them with magnets.

Re: Slime Ape work in progress
Thanks again for the positive vibes. Here are some progress shots from today. I've been reworking the arms, and I am considering having a few different arms so you can change them depending on what the scenario is. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. attached to test body.

Thanks bro! Here are pics of both arms. Going to pour up some silicone tonight to pull these arms and then mod it from there.

Re: Slime Ape work in progress
I know it's not the intention but in those latest shots you get an idea of what the completed figure might look like with a "rub" paint job. Keep us posted!

Re: Slime Ape work in progress
Been busy today, here are some pics... poured some resin then did a test pull of the arms and torso. Quick dremel job and put him together. This should give you guys an idea of how he will look. I eyeballed the drill points in the body and arms so this one is off a bit. No worries cause this will be my "figure out how to get everything right" one off. and his back Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again for all of the feedback.

Tar Ape!
glad you're finding time for progress...haven't much to add, but curious about what kind of color/paint scheme you've got in mind for the first run?

Nice Butch! I like the stance and weight of the ape. Looks like it fits in the hand well. Hope to see your new stuff this weekend.
