One of his worse releases in my opinion.

agreed. its odd to me how as soon as they go up, BOOM sold out. i mean how in the $*&$ do you get anything from KAWS in your cart and paid for before that happens.

i wonder if there is a group of flippers that pay for a T3 line and thats their secret.

I had no problem with this release and I even had to re enter my credit card info b/c the KAWS server did something weird.
I had major major issues in the past.

This one was easily obtainable if you were on the ball. I could have bought it probably 10-20 times before it sold out.
But I agree that it's on par with the brick wall, cat banks, poop sticks...what else am I missing? Snoopy...ummm, I'm sure there are other POS releases that I just can't bring myself to remember.
I actually think the idea of this is funny, but actually making it into an 8" plastic statue...no thanks.

I think KAWS 5YL and the Dissecteds were the high point for me.
Then the 99s.
Then the Pushead collab.
Then maybe the Sorayama collab but I've never seen that hands-on.
Then everything else...

I'd add the Chums to that list, and maybe shuffle it around a little bit.
Oh, also the Chompers Be@rbrick, and the first wooden Be@rbrick.
Everything else is either "meh" or worse.

What I like about the Wood Bearbrick has nothing to do with Kaws. I am more impressed with the execution of the piece and how it was made rather than the idea/concept (which was nothing new to be honest).

I like the starwars figures, but im probably in the minority..

I had no idea the upside down plate was included with the plastic statue.

I think this would have worked better conceptually if there had been a full scale bronze at the entry to the Orignal Fake store and a roto-matic that cranked out 4" toy versions. Make them a 'souvenir'. (But, w/ KAWS, you might have to put in $100 of quarters )

I love KAWS, but nope, I'm not a fan of this release. I got the dissected Milo, it looks great... But the snoopy and this, no thanks... I really think he should go back to more companion type stuff. That classic character is always so great.

I'd have ten of these before I picked up any of the hype driven ugly toys dominating the forum lately. Nag this. (not that KAWS isn't overly hype driven, but at least people know who he is outside of flippers and the rabid thread on here. lol)

I don't even like KAWS and I find this interesting.

I think I would like it a bit more if it just the Companion..and same height as KAWS.

I like it, so I grabbed one. A nice turn would of been to have the companion be the bigger side, and kaws beig the smaller... Kinda woulda made te point of KAWS being KAWS only with thank to the companion

My favotlrite Kaws release in a long time as well.

I'm the exact opposite (I love KAWS and I find this completely uninteresting).

Maybe if it had 4 eyes and Tara Mcpherson painted it blue and pink people would like it more.

It certainly couldn't make it any worse.
