Looks like there's no "Omega" this time, but instead the chest symbol from the other Garamon in episode 16. Buta's joined the ranks and done one of each! The only bummer is the the head looks to be the same as Leos.

I like all the new colors but, call me greedy, I'd like to see a brand-new character sculpt, too.

those look great! I hope the one with the symbol on his chest is easier to track down than Leo was. Haven't found that one yet.

I have to agree with toothaction. Don't get me wrong, these are awesome, and I sure hope I can manage to snag some somehow, but the past few releases have been a bit too recycled in terms of colour and sculpts. All Buta is excellent Buta, but there are just so many kaiju left unsculpted by such an amazing sofubi creator.

My Buta daydreams are almost always Tsuburaya centric, but I've got to agree that a Baragon would be AMAZING! As long as we're dreaming, how about in a set with Frankenstein? and a reissue of Oodaku to go along with it? The mouth waters!

Some excellent new comparison shots for the new Garys. If anyone has found out any specific release info for these, please let me know via PM, I would love a heads up to try and make every possible effort I can.

I was just scrutinizing between the two released Garamons yesterday and was able to confirm for my own eyes a hundred little differences between the sculpts - in looking at the Leo release vs. the picture of the new Garamon Anchor it was looking like it was yet another entirely new sculpt.

A quick trip to the Buta-blog confirmed it!


I don't know about the release date either, but we got a bit of warning the last time so I'm hoping it will be much the same this time around. Gingers crossed!

it is getting more & more stressful with the new releases. i wonder if the run size got reduced for some of the figures or more & more reseller/trade bait attention or real increase in demand.

I'll say one thing. Just as the Omega Garamon went in November, the Anchor Garamon came online already sold out. I mean it was not even offered. What is more distressing is that the rest sold out so quick my agent could not even get anything. I long for the days when these were offered at the stores. I take it the reason Butanohana does not sell overseas to individuals is licensing? I truly believe there is enough to go around to all the collectors but flippers gobble them up before they make it into our hands.
