I had a really bad bout of hearburn a few months ago that was so harsh my wife took me to the ER. The crappy thing is that before they gave me anything for the pain, they had to run all the tests to make sure I was not having a heart attack. Of course not mofos! It was the fucking carne adobado I had for dinner.

FU to the University for just sending someone in telling us we are going to be having a power shutdown for two hours. Sooo, this is deliberate and in all likelihood scheduled, but you chose not to give us any advance notice. It is a good thing this isn't a lab or anything where people are busy doing ongoing critical work, instead of just shuffling papers across a desk....oh wait, it is.

And no, none of our equipment runs on emergency backup, we don't have a generator or UPS, that would have to be something supplied by you, the University. But I appreciate your logic and understanding.

A big Fuck you to every tom, dick, and hairy, sculpting (I use the word sculpting very loosely) these monster's/piles of poop in a couple days time and posting it here to let us know your having it produced as a Japanese Vinyl toy...

A. This isn't a focus group for B.S. you happen to think you can market to us, and B. If you have the privilege of making a Kaiju Sofubi, please stop slapping together a couple of pieces of clay, and sending it off to have your wax mold made. It takes months (if not years) of working with the same figure, to get it to the point where you should be satisfied. Anyone that's made anything amazing (Paul Kaiju, Rich/MVH, Monstrehero, Monster Worship, come to mind) will take a long time to get to their end goal, but because they do, we get perfection.

The same can be said for everyone here that buys a couple cans of Monster Kolor or, Createx and starts calling yourself a toy artist, or a customizer. Your not an Artist, your just unemployed. Artist's have struggled and paid their dues to become what they are, you bought a very expensive toy (that was already painted by professionals), and ruined it. In another 5 years if your still painting, your not going to want the abomination that you first made clouding your reputation, so don't let it get to that point. Keep your B.S. down low, and work at honing your craft until you start making things you can be proud of forever.

This doesn't go out to everyone here painting, or making toys either, because there are a lot of talented people on this board, but if this somehow touches a nerve, I'm most likely talking about you.

Please don't think I'm calling out anyone on a personal level, or that I just looked at the Resonator section today and saw something that particularly set me off. This goes on every week. Also I think that to a degree, I may have been guilty of doing this same thing, so fuck me too.

Edit: Fuck people stealing from working artists as well, that's a bummer G&F, for as much work as you've put into your release, you definitely deserve better than that...
