Monstock's sculpts are good, but I don't care for a single one of them. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is I don't like, though. They somehow straddle the line between Western and Japanese visual style, in my head, for some reason. I don't know.

C'mon guys. I'll grant you that 95% of T9g stuff is... not for everyone (myself included), but how can you not love the Rangeas? He's part Bemular, part Cheshire Cat, and part "Where the Wild Things Are. Which equals 100% awesome!

I actually really like the quirkiness of a lot of T9G's toys! The Rangeas is actually my least favorite of the bunch. I love the Yumenoko stuff he did.

I know this is the second toy i've posted here that JMRampage is associated with, and I mean no offense to him since he seems like a great guy, but I don't know how this gets a pass with most people...

I love T9G. I think he's one of the most interesting designers in toys. Even if not every sculpt is a hit. But what maker out there can you really say you love 100% of what they've done?

if everyone likes the same thing, that is going to cause some problems in this hobby.
so its natural and infact good that there are different tastes.

BEMON ;)

It also helps he only has 2 toys.

I'm not saying that T9G makes fugly toys, I just don't feel his work and adding my comments to what Banshee posted earlier. While I do think that the Target Earth Smoggun is pretty bad, a good definition of fugly :)
Re: makers out there I can really say I love 100% of what they've done, the ratio may not be 100% but still remains pretty high when I think of Zollmen, Elegab and Gargamel. With less output Ilu Ilu has been pretty spot on too, not to mention HS.

Eh - he's 50/50.
I'll go with: Exohead (Man Machines, mini Galtan) and Buster Call (Beetlar). Oh, and so far Star Case.

I will forgive this toy because the print they put out for it was awesome.

True - that's the ONLY good thing about the toy. That's also the only RJB/RM print I don't have (there are only 3, right?).

I (think) there are 4 total? I have 3 and I think I was missing one.
I have that one and it is my favorite for being a toy I don't own and never wanted to.

Huh. I have the Pharaos and Damnedron posters - love 'em even though I don't like the toys. I can't think of what the 4th poster would be.
I never liked RM toys, but dig RJB's posters that utilize the characters.

Fair point re: those RM things. RJB could make a D_nny look good. Just kidding, that's impossible.

Honestly, nope, I personally hate that sculpt. I used to be interested in it when it first came out, but that died quickly. The mouth, the proportions, the eyes, the goofy expression. There's a lot I don't like about it. T9G has a style that's all his own, that's for sure, I just don't care for it at all.

We need more fug in here.

That version in particular or the Dempagon in general?

Dempagon, as a sculpt, rules hard. With that being said, I only like a few versions (King Joe, Frankenruge and Smogun, maybe a couple others) and the panda, Doraemon and Batman tributes are pretty silly. I kind of think Dempagon is a fan service vehicle for the Longneck creator. Something to have fun with and pay tribute to his favorite characters while also doing really oddball versions like the polka dot.

You've got to have one of them in hand to really appreciate it. There's so much character in over little detail of the sculpt. Thanks for reminding me that I would love to find 9.0.

Ahah, I love the Dempagon (still need one), but I agree that there are some questionable paint-apps for it. However in turn there are some great ones as well.

A grail of mine is one of those Dempagons with the Death Menargo long-heads as a schlong.
