I've bought from viciouslyfun before. She's actually a girl named Loren. I got my Hukkokudo Gamegon from her at what it was retail. She was pretty nice and very personable. Just saying...

I too have bought from them a few times, all at very reasonable prices.

viciouslyfun is really hit or miss. I have seen them win auctions and then relist the items days later for literally 5x the price but you also see other stuff at or about retail.

Sorry dude Loren is a guys name, and Loren is a guy... He's married to his wife, Ginger. I also agree that his prices can be really good, or really bad.

Like I said, Loren is a man, if you look at old blog postings on ViciousFun, it states his full name, as the author of the blog post. Then look up Loren _____ in Detroit Michigan, and he's the first person to pop up on facebook.

The web is transparent. I knew all of this a long time ago, I just didn't know who he was here. Also like others have said, he's got decent prices on most items, sometimes it's a little out of line, but since he get's a lot of his store items from Mandarake, and the exchange on the dollar is crummy...

It might sound weird, but a lot of people are hesitant of ordering from overseas businesses. I know I was when I first started buying Japanese toys.
It's not just a Japan thing either, when I was collecting records, I was always hesitant to buy my albums overseas, and personally the fear has always been of customs, messing with older records, that were "in my mind" priceless.

V. Fun allows for people to order from U.S. and not worry about their toys getting held up in customs, or lost overseas etc...
I don't want to defend him, but I just don't think selling stuff on E-bay makes you a flipper. With all that said, I'd like to see a guy like Loren be open on here. I think one of the best things about skullbrain, is the database of toys everyone has built, and if he has access to so many toys, it would be nice if he could review them, or use his stockpile to help enrich the community.

While I'm not for flipping, this witch hunt for every single person who sells on ebay is getting to be a bit weird to me.

Today I noticed the ultrus bog being listed for more than twice the price. I saw his other items listed at high prices and came straight to this thread since I knew the seller had to be a skullbrainer. I was actually glad to see him called out.

Have to agree with this - I'm already nervous about listing my old Levi's at auction... the guys in the Levi's forums are gnarly btw
