kind of surprised at the colors, actually. not seeing anything new. probably just recycled the leftover vinyl from recent artist's releases. really dig the army green head one.

These are looking swell indeed, I still can't understand why they didn't just offer a random mixed blank option? Seems easy to do, and if Luke is doing some anyways. I am bummed I couldnt get enough people to make this happen. Top-left is definitely my favourite, followed by bottom-left. I would gladly have paid a bit more for a mixed E-man.

since they specifically stated that there wouldn't be black or white or clear (except for the actual all-clear blank ones), i doubt these are indicative of the final shootings blanks colors.

As has already been said those likely aren't the shooting blanks. Probably just extra blanks from the medicom EMs.

The Joker rules hard, it's Just like the picture I sent in. Love the other one as well. Luke took some creative liberties with it.

I originally asked for an unpainted light blue monster with light candy pink arms...similar to the SF unpainted run but slightly different. Luke probably thought that was super boring and lame so he did something totally unexpected - he used a clear head and body and sprayed them blue from the inside! Its a super cool effect, very much looks like glass filled with blue raspberry ICEE. The arms aren't pink at all and totally look like cranberry sauce but that's cool too.

Super happy with these and wait anxiously to see how custom #3 turns out!

I couldn't tell in the pic a couple pages back, but mine is on clear glitter vinyl, and the gold and purple are candy colors so the glitter shows through real nicely.

The Joker is obviously awesome, but the inside-blue spray is really slick!

very happy with my sicky looking virus grody except for a few scratches.. looks like he used a clear body and then after putting the head and arms on it took off the paint in a couple of spots around the neck and legs ? , grrrr...

that seemed to be a problem with the legs of the anatomical monsters, the flesh colored paint seemed to just peel off. sorry to hear that, hopefully its not too noticeable

Maybe this is an issue with the way clear vinyl receives paint? Remember, a similar issue was had with a bunch of the clear/blue fade RxH figures too.

Forgot to mention I went to lulubell on friday. Amy has yet to receive the NYCC monsters. The ones on the pictures I guess were only 4 packed at the very top along with the second wave of kaiju for grown ups figures luke did. (which by the way will be up in a few days at the lulu webstore).

From experience I can say that clear toys are harder to paint than colored vinyl, they don't seem to be as porous. That said there are plenty of things you can do during production to avoid things like that happening. Such as keeping the vinyl warm during paint application. Most likely there were still some oils on the toy that didn't get washed off. You have to remember that Luke is painting tons of toys, and it's a long ways from Japan, with a lot of ways for a toy to get jacked up on it's way to you. It always sucks to see a killer paint application get banged up.
