I missed out on the Secret Base release- sent it a few seconds after noon Japan time. Such is my life.
But I think I scored one, just waiting to hear from my friend.

I'm really not a fan of marbling; those first couple of marbled Siamese Caps were cool... then Pirates... then everything else. With a FHP or a solid colorway it was like... ok, I need to get THAT toy.

With the marbled theres so many variables that completists are screwed.

I like that this guy has solid breeches and gold paint and not just all marbling.

I am a fan of it. I think it adds another layer to the sculpts and can also be appreciated by comparing the marbled with what others' look like.

I totally agree, couldn't have put it better I've never been a big fan of unpainted toys in general (although some are admittingly amazing) but the marbling on these is often in a league of its own.

Aww man, now seeing pics of the pirate makes me bummed I missed it.

my sentiments exactly. somehow the coloured ooze on the heads bring a nice contrast to the black base. congrats Mark. the perks of having the store almost at your backyard

in other SB news...the wife scored one of these on Artoyz before they sold out, she loves the Ziggy bolt version and this makes #2 for her collection.

I believe only the one dog (pictured) has the clear Green head. As far as I can tell mine is solid Black vinyl.
