 Re: Non- Vinyl American toys
He's in the MOTU scale, part of a booty line called Ninja Assassins / Ninja Defenders. Assassins were the bad guys, one's a bug, one's a wolf, this guy has a skull head... Defenders are humanoid and not nearly as cool. Found him in an antique mall in Washington state somewhere along the I-5 driving back from seeing Mastodon in Seattle.

 Re: Non- Vinyl American toys
they are actually quite a bit taller than motu scale. here are the ones i have in the way back ground of this pic. the orange coat dude right in front is standing on the same riser as the ninja assassins/defenders. i display my assassins without the hood masks, because they are monsters and their heads look super cool (as kaijuphotobooth also stated). the figure on each side of the huddle is a ninja defender. yep, hard to find these guys with their masks/hoods, also, crossbows tend to have the tips broken off and most of the weapons end up being lost because this was one of those lines that were packaged with more weps than they can carry. i have a hood/mask and coat with belt for defender mentor if anyone wants it. i have no desire to get more defenders, so i would happily help out whoever wants that hunt.

We are for sure looking for more assassins, they are fantastic. One of my absolute favorite bootlegs ever.

@ SLM: Is that black and white skeleton, a MOTU bootleg series, or a Nakajima T.M. Knockoff?

kaijuphotobooth wrote: I think the line is called Skull Force and there were bendy and posable in that series? yep. skull force. there were red paint vein faces and neon green paint vein faces. knockoff line utilizing the motu-style body. i believe these were distributed via wal-mart. this guys packaged weapon was a billy club and a samurai sword (actually, it was a bland gray version of ninjor's sword). great line! and yes, they had the bendy versions. but they weren't called "skull force bend-ems" or anything. the bendy and non-bendy action figures were part of the same sereies. amazing! with that said, what the fuck is a nakajima T.M.? because if it is even HALF as cool as Skull Force, i may be interested... Re: Non- Vinyl American toys
terminator troll is genius! and i love how the red dude has the galaxy warriors armor, but with the "T" sticker. its like its paying homage to a toyline that no one would care about/worth paying homage to until at least 15 years passes. great pic of these, btw. the motu ko troll guys have always looked good to me, just haven't broke into collecting them yet. (that compliment is NOT to be confused with the junky hasbro Troll Force crap).

kaijuphotobooth wrote: very hilarious. scareglow peeing his pants is hilarious. he's my favorite, I recently found his staff on a trip to LA. nice find! yeah, most of the 1987 figure assortment ranks up there as my favorites. but i think a good chunk of that series gets more attention then it deserves because it is deemed "rare." blast attak belongs in a tmnt line, and the 2 spinner figs are cool, but totally not worth the cash sellers are asking! but yeah, that video is pretty fun. the sweet thing is, castle grayskullman was the fan-made pick by Mattel to be made into an actual figure. you can check it out at http://www.castlegrayskullman.comthis video was made by the creator of the toy.

Yeah, I really just dig scareglow in particular, and the horde because I dig she-ra. In my mind, Hordak is almost her dad, so I like him a lot. I just rearranged my strawberry shortcake display:

 Re: Non- Vinyl American toys
Oh shoot, you have the super uber-rare no-cape vinyl Jawa. Love the BSG guys, but why no Cylon love (okay, excluding Lucifer and Imperious leader, guess I should say why no Centurions)?

 Re: Non- Vinyl American toys
Haha. my jawa has a nylon cloth cape/robe, but when wearing it, it looks like I just have a random wad of cloth sitting on my shelf. Its so enormous and totally buries the little guy. So I keep it in my box of undisplayable accessories, like the crystar looking glass things and somewhere around 6000 Joe weapons. As for the 2 versions of cylons, I want them. I have their guns. But both the silver and gold were painted with metallic paint that chips and/or wears away easily. I just haven't found one in the condition I like without having to fork out a fortune yet. I do have a cylon raider with a little 2" cylon pilot....I also need the dark brown variant daggit too, and I would actually like to get about 12 of the silver cylons to have an army of them!
