i also know that masato ... hires extra staff for in demand toy releases. so the few people that were attempting to buy
using this system for the first time were surely beat to the finish line by the trained staff acquiring these toys for deep pocket collectors.
i wonder if they ring a bell for every confirmed purchase and if the person with the most buys get's a bonus

These would have sold out in under two minutes to rabid collectors all in Japan regardless of anything I posted in this thread. Those instructions are plastered all over the web.

Does introducing extra people into the mix change your statistical chances? Sure, but they are super low to begin with. I would much rather give fellow overseas collectors who are really into this stuff a fighting chance, as opposed to a snowball's chance in hell.

I'm not complaining about the help at all but just couldn't believe it was over that quick. Had it in my cart and hit pay and boom gone.

Neither are the (currently) 46 faceless lurkers that use the site to see what's hot . . . I'm sure they appreciate all the help too!

I always hate that guy who stops in heavy traffic to let a few people in, but ends up causing havoc to the entire traffic flow.

I know it has been commented on before in this thread, but I finally got a Neo Gorilla (Thanks, John!), and holy crap is that guy tiny. Like shockingly small, even compared to Pepy.

better produced star case toys?

Yeah...My first thought was the helmet reminded me of the Star Case toys. I really like the art for the Star Case figures but the execution of the sculpts just does not appeal to me. I've seen a couple of the original bootleg kits the Star Case figures are based on and I like those better.

The paint application and detail in ILU ILU figures I have are top notch.

Just not feeling these new guys... I see the appeal but after the Gorz these just seem a bit lackluster.

Is that a new head, or is just the back side of the Gorz internal head? I don't have my Gorz at hand to check.

Altered man with cape and helmet is pretty neat, but I was hoping for a completely new sculpt from Iluilu.
