Well, if he didn't before, he does now. My first Celga box arrived this afternoon:
Barely fit in our building package lockers. Check out the little straps- it was just that big.
Nothing mind-blowing- I think only a couple of the guys here will have any interest in some of the things from the box. I did find some pretty good deals in YJA, Celga fees notwithstanding. 1. 3-pack of the "Cure 3rd Anniversary" Honeybee kits. These were a STEAL and they came with the infamous "SeCUREt Base" sticker. I wonder what colors they are... 2. Assorted Marmit Vinyl Para-Baby figures. I love these, and need more of them. GID in the house! 3. Gundam MSiA Gouf (Ookawara coloring ver.). Hard to find this version stateside, but quite easy on YJA. 4. Machine Robo BH-05 Gattaizaurer. Four small robots combine into one giant dinosaur robot. I think he was called "Fossil Lord" over here. Box is a bit worn, but toys are minty minty fresh! To their credit, Celga did a great job in packing the stuff. I try not to remember how much I was charged in fees, but I don't think I could have asked for better client service. |

Nice box. Celga ships all there boxes with the yellow straps. Everytime I get the little brown missed package card on my front door and go to the Post Office and then see the clerk come back with a box with the yellow straps it's better than Christmas as a kid!!! the Parababy's are from Red Shadow: Akakage I think I have all the GID's from that series. If you want I'll try to put pics of them all together with names for you. |

audio: Ok, thanks for clearing the colors up on the Cure Honeybees. I couldn't remember which ones were the kits. creevox: Cool, now I know which series/universe these characters are from. I've just been collecting the Para-Babies because they are the same characters as in the Dream Rocket Akakage Kaiju series. This correlation makes more sense now. Right now I have: Jyako, Gappo, Gasora and Gabari. I know there is a Para-Baby of Doguma and Agon as well. Are there any other kaiju from the 'Red Shadow: Akakage' series that were made? Incidentally, Dream Rocket's webpage says that a figure of Gabari will be released in May.
I think the most addictive part about Celga/YJA is that you have access to a much wider range of Japanese figures than you could through any other source. Things that come up only twice a year on eBay can show up multiple times each month on YJA (e.g., the MSiA Gouf in my haul). |

YJA! is definitely amazing. You can find so many things, especially outside the realm of toys. I think I kind of take it for granted now. |
