got these from an amazing offer from a fellow boardmember and i love her to death. these guys are the staple point to my collection, as hinos mangas and movies influence my art and i just love everything about him. theres a new drag in the mix as well. ive got a bunch of stuf fon the way from celga, and comicon is around the corner, but i just felt the urge to show these guys off

He was the SDCC about 5 years ago, real nice, signed stuff and after we wanted to take a picture with him he wanted a pic of us with him too. He was wearing a kimono and had some announcer guy introducing him to everyone. Ill see if I can find the pic. |

That's a cool set-up and you've got some very nice toys. This Hino is from a comic shop and the only Hino I've ever seen w/ my own 2 eyes:

celgas got a bunch of him, hes a character from his manga. as for character info, "frankie" came from an egg that his crazy grandmother laid. hino and frankie would wander around killing animals and such yadda yadda and one day hideshi got caught on some railroad tracks, so frankie pushed him out of the way, sacrificing himself. but that resulted in baby frankie getting torn up into pieces so hideshi hino put him back together. info from hino horror number 7, entitled "the collection" buy all of those books, they are fantastic! |
